Editorial Policy
How the words on this site are written and checked.
Facts first
Every figure on a product page comes from the product's own specifications: the 30.7-inch arch of the half moon light, the 3/32-inch shank of a drill bit, the 13-pound rating of a shower hook. When a spec is not stated, we do not guess it.
Sources
Stories that touch health or safety (UV exposure under a gel lamp, cleaning and disinfecting metal tools, eye care during lash work) cite public guidance from government health agencies, state boards and medical organizations. Every source is read before it is linked, and the date it was read is printed next to it.
What we will not do
We do not print reviews we made up, awards we did not win or health effects a product does not have. A UV cabinet keeps tools dry and tidy; disinfecting them is a separate step your state board describes, and our pages say so.
