How the CGBE bit sets differ

Four bit sets on the standard 3/32-inch shank, and a stand to keep them upright.

Every set here uses the 3/32-inch (2.35 mm) shank that most nail drills take, and each comes with a cleaning brush. Material is what changes. Two sets are all tungsten carbide: ten bits as Set A (blue) or Set B (red), or six bits in fine or medium grit, each in its own clear case. The ten stainless steel bits suit natural nails and thin acrylics, and the mixed set holds 2 carbide, 2 ceramic and 6 diamond bits.

Loose bits roll off a desk and knock against each other in a drawer. Our acrylic holder has 28 holes stepped in four rows for 3/32-inch bits, plus seven compartments for files, pads and the drill itself. At 8.26 x 5.47 x 3.5 inches it takes one corner of the desk, and it arrives empty, so plan to fill it from the sets on this shelf.
