Small CGBE hooks that stick where nails cannot go

A metal hook sits on a clear pad, and on glass or a pale door the pad nearly disappears, so what you see is the gold or silver hook and whatever hangs from it. Ceilings count too: a trailing plant, a paper star, a string of holiday lights along a window frame.

Bricks, glass, metal and wood doors all take the pad, which makes the hooks useful in places a renter cannot drill, like a tiled backsplash, the inside of a closet door or the brick wall of a porch. Clean the spot, press the pad on firmly and give it time before loading it.

Packs come with 8 or 16 hooks. Eight cover a row of keys and a towel or two. Sixteen will run a line of lights around a room, or let you split them between the kitchen, the bathroom and the hall closet without counting.

How to use it

1. Wipe the surface clean and dry before you peel the backing.
2. Press the pad firmly onto glass, metal, wood or brick and hold it for a moment.
3. Wait before hanging anything heavy so the adhesive can set.
