Four CGBE hooks for a door, a closet or a corner

An L-shaped hook holds a single thing well: a robe on the back of a bathroom door, a bag inside a closet, a leash by the back step. Four of them fit a short stretch of wall, or one door each in a small apartment.

Every hook has two pre-bored holes, and the box carries 8 stainless steel screws, exactly two for each. Drill pilot holes with a 6 mm bit and drive the screws into wood or a stud so the hook sits flat. Both the hooks and the screws are stainless, which suits a damp porch or a laundry room.

Each hook measures 2.4 by 1.3 inches, and the screw heads are 0.98 inch across. A smooth face keeps knits and silk from catching when you lift them off. Black and silver are the two finishes.

How to use it

  1. Hold the hook in place and mark both pre-bored holes with a pencil.
